SELECTED TO TAPE STANFORD'S “INNOVATOR'S WORKBENCH” AGAIN!
For the 4th
consecutive year, LMA Productions of Pleasanton, CA
has been selected
to provide video
production, engineering,
directing, and editing services for
the series “From the Innovator's Workbench”, put on by Stanford University’s Biodesign Program. The show, shot with three cameras, is a live-to-tape interview format before an audience
of over one hundred fifty guests. With over 20 years of experience in producing shows for the biomedical and healthcare industries, LMA is well-suited to take on this project.
The
series, hosted by David Cassak of Windhover Information, features top innovators in the biomedical technology field discussing their
experience, thoughts and insights on bringing new
biomed
products to market.
Stanford Biodesign Program initiated the "From the Innovator's Workbench" series
in 2003
as part of the program's Medical School course, Med 272. The interviews have become a featured event for students, faculty and staff alike.
Previous guests on the show have included: William Hawkins, President and Chief Operating Officer of Medtronic, Inc., Julio C. Palmaz, MD, the inventor of the first commercially successful stent, and John Simpson,
MD, PhD,
the inventor of the
over-the-wire
balloon angioplasty catheter and founder of Advanced Cardiovascular Systems (ACS),
which became Guidant Corporation.
Past shows were released on DVDs or were converted to streaming video formats for web delivery.
