LMA Productions was off to a fast start this year completing DVDs, podcasts, post production special effects, live-to-tape programs and on-location production projects for Conceptus, Nektar Therapeutics, Tyco Healthcare and the American Heart Association.  Even former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, president of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving, found herself in front of LMA’s camera as we traveled to Georgia to shoot the new introduction for the American Red Cross’ Family Caregiving DVD.

LMA, in partnership with the Stanford BioDesign Program, has produced three more shows in the prestigious Stanford University BioDesign Workbench Series. With David Cassak of Windhover Information as interviewer, this series features renowned innovators in the in the Medical Device industry discussing their histories, process of innovation and insights.  This year’s programs featured Karen Talmadge – Kyphon Inc., Richard Stack – SyneCor LLC and Michael Mussallem – Edward Life Sciences. The final program of the season features Rick Gonzalez of Abbott Laboratories, and will be the first in the series to be disseminated as a podcast.  Eighteen programs in the series have been produced to date.
